The Hudson Essex Passaic SCD updates its note set to reflect changes to the NJ Standards as they are promulgated. Download the most current Notes and include on the Soil Erosion & Sediment Control plan prior to submittal.
The Permit Extension Act has reached the end of the extension period. District certifications which were extended under the Act will expire on June 30, 2016. Project owners MUST contact the District in order to renew (extend) for another 3.5 year certification period. Letters are currently being mailed to the owner of record. If you have not yet received your letter, and no changes have been made to the most recently approved certification. you may complete the Request for Recertification and submit it to the District.
Minor revisions shall be submitted during the recertification process. Please note that if your plan has been revised it MUST meet the current NJ Standards for Soil Erosion & Sediment Control (7th Ed, 2014), and must include the current HEPSCD Notes (available for download from the Forms tab of this website).
Major revisions (including but not limited to change in use, scope or plan designer, and as defined by N.J.A.C. 2:90-1.2) to a project will instead require a new submission of a new application package to include completed Ch. 251 application, appropriate fees, and signed and sealed SESC plan. A new NJDEP Stormwater Discharge Permit (5G3, formerly “RFA”) will also be required where applicable.
***If you can finish and stabilize your project area prior to June 30, 2016, please do so, and call the District for final inspection at 862-333-4505.
